Our experience of 20 years in the mental health field enables us to offer effective and quality services. We offer individualized care in an inviting, comfortable, private practice setting. We provide assistance with many issues as well as offer a neutral, supportive ground to individuals, families, and couples.
Tina M. Luther, MA, LMHC: Tina is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She received her BA degree from Hanover College in Psychology in 1998 and a MA degree from Webster University Camp Lejeune, NC in 2004 in Counseling. She has worked in many areas in the mental health field: social services, behavioral health hospital settings, student assistance programs, home visiting, community based, community mental health, crisis intervention, and private practice. She worked in a college setting for over seven years but moved over to private practice full time and is the owner of Tina Luther Counseling Services LLC. She has experience working with young age children to older adults. She has experience providing individual, family, couples, and group counseling. She is a certified Family Development Specialist. Certified in Suicide Assist First Aid. QPR trained and QPR instructor. Trained with Star Behavioral Health to work with military and their families. She is trained in and utilizes EMDR, RRT, TCM Method, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Family Center Therapy.
In her spare time, she spends time with her husband of 25 years, her son, family and friends. She enjoys, cuddles with her dog Beanie, traveling, going to the gym, walking, swimming, scuba diving, going out to eat, entertaining friends and family, and trying to live a quality, balanced, healthy lifestyle. She is excited and proud to have her own private practice and looks forward to meeting and working with all who come to see her.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and working together to achieve your goals.
